There seems to be a common misconception floating around about all level 80 gear having equal stat values, regardless of rarity. This assumption arises from two things: First, in the original Guild Wars, all items of all rarities had equal stat values at max level. For example, all swords were 15-22 damage, whether they were white, blue, green Adventures. If you just started; sure, every zone is scaled, but your gear will make things pretty difficult, by doing some calculations, you will need around 200 k Karma to get a decent set of lvl 80 Exotic gear, or just grind level 80 zones/ dungeons and hope for the best. I personally would use the booster after you have played a character from 1 to 80. Look for berserker stats: Power orecision and ferocity, nothing else with power having the highest values over the other 2. This can be searched for in the trade post as a reference for a majority of the sellable items there via the cogwheel icon, input "berserker" and select level 80-80 and make sure not to match your current level as to not Gj8Ir.
